Tip/Technique Skipping Stones

Hey everyone!!
I am here today to share a skipping stones Designs card for you today!!

Today the design team is sharing their fun tip/techniques with you.

I have been having so much fun experimenting with watercoloring lately and I thought I would share something maybe a new tip for you or maybe I am just sharing something new for me.

I don't know about you but I love finding ways to stretch my stamps.

So for my tip that I am sharing today  I stamped this butterfly using my antique linen distress inks by doing this you get a very light impression but just enough to give you the guidelines of your stamped image and than you can go ahead and add all the pretty colors you want to your butterfly and it gives you an amazing watercolored look but also a very different stamped image.
I used the stamp set Breathtaking Butterflies you can check out that stamp set here.

Also please make sure to check out these lovely ladies for more tip/techniques!!!
Don't forget to leave your comments for your chance to win a skipping stones stamp set!!!

  7. Using a light colored distress ink for stamping is a great technique! It is a nice change from black outlines and enhances the watercolour application.
